"The Car" Magazine/Journal

Published in Melbourne by Mitchell and Casey, "The Car" was a monthly journal dedicated to all things motoring.

With Volume 1 appearing in August 1925 and the final publication appearing as Vol 14, no. 12 in July 1939, "The Car" is one of the few sources of authentic, period literature of motoring in Melbourne. It's recollections of Trials, Rallies, Races and everything in between means that the pages are well-revered by Historians.
